The Mississippi Parent Training and Information Center is pleased to announce the 2014 Southwest MS Area Regional conference. The conference will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Southwest MS Community College in the Workforce Training Center in Summit, MS.
The conference goal is to uplift educators and parents of children who receive special education services and to share information to increase and sustain a successful parent-school collaborative relationship. This year’s conference will include topics such as inclusion, discipline & students with disabilities, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS), a very exciting leadership panel of young adults with varying disabilities and more. We will also have representatives from MDE on hand and various organizations, local and state wide, whose services or products may enhance and/or enrich their lives.

The registration fee is $25.00 which includes breakfast and lunch. We also have parent scholarships available to assist with registration.
