Do you want to eat healthier? Good nutrition is for everyone, including people with disabilities and their families. Join The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies for a nutrition education workshop especially for people with disabilities and their families. Learn why you should eat more fruits and vegetables and how to incorporate them into your daily diet. Learn how you can cook more meals at home and prepare healthy on-the-go snacks. Get tips for purchasing healthier foods on a budget. Discuss making activity a part of your life. This nutrition training is provided by Nutrition is for Everyone Mississippi, a year-long regional project funded by the Walmart Foundation through the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).
