This training is for YOU! The training is designed to increase the ability of communities to serve children and youth with access and functional needs, their caregivers, school personnel, and community members before, during and after disasters and emergencies.
 
Topics Covered:   
    Awareness and sensitivity in interacting and working with students who have disabilities and their familiesHow the needs of students with disabilities differ during emergency preparedness and response 
Information on how to appropriately plan and prepare for disasters and emergencies for children and youth disabilities 
    Disaster and emergency preparedness resources, such as websites, publications, and guides geared toward students with disabilities and school personnel
