Pre-Employment Transition Services "Pre-ETS"

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to celebrate Mississippians with disabilities on their path to community-based, competitive employment. This presentation will discuss the history of month and how the Institute for Disability Studies is celebrating through month-long activities. In addition, the importance and role of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) services will be explored. Pre-ETS services are now offered statewide through the MS Department of Rehabilitation Services to address the transition from school to adult life of students with disabilities.
