Our keynote speaker is Dr. Carol Schall, Associate Professor, Rehabilitation, Research & Training Center, Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Schall will discuss her research regarding the impact of COVID-19 on the lives of employed individuals with ASD. She will also discuss the importance of using trauma informed care to ensure that individuals with ASD are able to return to work and school safely.
Other topics will include Behavioral Health, Communication, Ethical Treatment, Safety, Assistive Technology, Medicaid ID/DD Waiver and Community Support Program.
Note: attendance scholarships are available for parents/guardians of and/or persons with autism. You may request a scholarship when registering online. Check "pay at door" as your form of payment. You will be notified via email when your request has been approved.
